Please join the Institute for a Sustainable Earth and special guest Dr. Anthony Socci, US EPA Senior Lead on International Resilience and Adaptation Policy, to discuss the Educational Partnerships for Innovation in Communities (EPIC) program.

EPIC is a university-local government and community partnership that seeks to bring the intellectual resources and capabilities of universities to bear on the needs of local governments and communities as they try to develop more sustainably, build resilience, and adapt. Over the last decade, the EPIC model has been adopted and implemented by numerous universities and local governments, domestically and internationally, ultimately leading to the evolution of the EPIC Network or EPIC-N and an EPIC-N secretariat.

Dr. Socci will provide a 20 minute presentation on EPIC followed by Q&A then 30 minutes will be allocated to discussing potential interest in EPIC by ISE members and local community partners. Refreshments will be served.
