The Center for Security Policy Studies (CSPS) Korea cordially invites you to the “2019 CSPS-Korea Symposium on International Security: Environmental Challenges & Solutions” and Luncheon. 

 The Symposium will be held in the Incheon Global Campus 5F Small Theatre on May 22, 2019 between 10:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. and the Luncheon will be held in the Global Lounge of George Mason University Korea between 12:30 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.

 This year’s symposium will address growing concerns on climate change and environmental issues that threaten the very existence of ecosystem and peaceful coexistence of humankind. Environmental security surpasses national borders and requires collaborative measures to develop resilience on adverse effects of climate change. CSPS Arlington and Korea co-host a platform of discussion on environmental threats in Asia and policymaking in national, regional, and global perspectives. The symposium will also address on implementation process of national policies, importance of global cooperation, and role of international organizations. This multilateral form of symposium will be a unique learning opportunity to share thoughts and experience of diverse perspectives from different countries.
