To provide financial support
for a graduate student enrolled in the following IT&E graduate degree
programs: Master of Science in Information
Security & Assurance or PhD in Information
Technology with concentration in Information Security & Assurance.
This fellowship has been
created by a generous contribution from the Information
Systems Security Association-Northern Virginia Chapter (ISSA-NOVA)
in memory of Laurie McQuillian, one of the its founding members. ISSA-NOVA contribution is being matched
by GMU’s Center for Secure Information
Systems (CSIS) and School of Information
Technology and Engineering (IT&E).
Student
eligibility criteria for ISSA-NOVA fellowship are as follows:
One fellowship in the amount
of $10,000 is available for the academic year 2008-2009.
