Procedures for Withdrawals from Graduate Courses

Before the final drop date
  • No special procedure is required
Within two weeks of the drop date
  • Complete the "Late Schedule Adjustment Form" *Contact ISE office
  • Submit to S&T II, room 160 for signature
More than two weeks after the drop date, and more than one month before the last day of classes
  • Complete (with your instructor(s)) the "Academic Status Request Form"
  • Complete the "Late Schedule Adjustment Form" *Contact ISE office
  • Submit to S&T II, room 160 for signature
Within one month of the last day of classes
  • Complete (with your instructor(s)) the "Academic Status Request Form"
  • Complete the "Application for Withdrawal" *Contact ISE office
  • At this late date in the semester, you must withdraw from all courses
  • Obtain documents to justify your request
  • Submit to S&T II, room 160 for signature

Note: In all cases
  • You are strongly encouraged to discuss your plan with your instructor(s) and your advisor before applying for withdrawal; there may be available to you
  • Poor performance in a course is not a valid reason for withdrawl
