    Jon Whittle is an Associate Professor at George Mason University. Previously, he worked as a research lead in the Automated Software Engineering Group at NASA Ames Research Center. In 2003, he was Conference Chair of the International Conference on UML. In 2002, he served as Tutorials/Workshops Chair at the same conference. He has also co-organized workshops at the following conferences: MODELS2005, UML2004, Reliable Software Technologies 2003, ETAPS 2002, ECOOP 2001, UML 2001, OOPSLA 2000 and IEEE Aerospace 2001. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Software and Systems Modeling and Steering Committee member of the MODELS series of conferences (formerly UML Conference).

  • Michael Meisinger (co-organizer), Software and Systems Engineering group, TU Munich, meisinge@in.tum.de.

    Michael Meisinger is a research assistant in the Software Engineering group of Professor Manfred Broy at the Technical University of Munich, Germany and is in a PhD program with a research focus on serviceoriented software architectures and formal methods. His research involves a close collaboration with Prof. Ingolf Krueger’s group at UC San Diego. He is currently co-organizing the San Diego Automotive Workshop 2006 and he has organized several workshops as part of research projects in the past.

  • Leif Geiger (co-organizer), Software Engineering Research Group, University of Kassel, leif.geiger@uni-kassel.de.

    Leif Geiger is a PhD student at the University of Kassel . He works as research assistant at the Software Engineering Research Group and is supervised by Professor Albert Zündorf. Leif Geiger’s research interests are software development processes and how such processes can be automated and how tool support can be offered. Leif has contributed to published papers at SCESM’02, SCESM’04 and SCESM’05.
