Mission Statement

To create a community of scholars dedicated to teaching, research and service in the application of information technology to Information and Software Engineering. Software is the driving force of the emerging information economy, thus the ISE Department focuses on issues related to developing software in general and information systems in particular. Our goal is to help GMU become one of the nation's top Information Technology universities.
